COVID-19 Update

March 1st 2022

Exciting news! As we navigate through this pandemic, some changes to our banquet services have been made following the latest Provincial and Regional public health guidelines. As of Tuesday March 1st 2022,

  • Proof of vaccine is no longer required to enter our facility

  • Capacity limits have been lifted and we now operate at 100%

We want to thank all of our guests for their cooperation and patience during this time. Thank you for the ongoing support throughout the pandemic and adapting to our changing guidelines. We look forward to hosting you during the upcoming wedding and event season!

We Care About Your Health

Screening

Employees and guests must complete a health and safety screening upon entering our facility. Those who fail to comply will not be permitted entry into our hall. Our COVID-19 screening form can be found here.

Increased Cleaning and Disinfection

We have increased the cleaning and sanitization of high touch points including door handles, light switches, toilet handles, and counters. Hand sanitizer must be used upon entry and is available throughout the entire hall. This includes automatic dispensers and hand pumps. Each table will be provided with a hand sanitizer pump and we encourage guests to use it throughout the night.

Physical Distancing

We encourage you to keep your distance from others. Please keep a distance of at least two metres from other people as much as possible. Tables are spaced at least six feet apart in our ballroom. We have also installed plexi glass dividers at our bar to keep you safe.

Face Coverings

Guests must wear a face covering when entering our facility. You are only permitted to remove your face mask when seated at your table. If standing, a face mask must be worn. Our staff have been given mandatory face coverings that must be worn when inside the building and during dinner service.

COVID-19 Vaccination Passports

Starting September 22, 2021 all guests aged 12 and older must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of identification and vaccination when entering JM's.

You are considered fully vaccinated if you have received:

  • Two doses of Moderna, Pfizer, or AstraZeneca in any combination

Upon entering JM's all guests will need to complete a COVID-19 screening and show proof of vaccination. Photo ID must be shown along with your vaccine receipt.

If exempt from receiving the COVID-19 vaccination, a written document from a physician outlining medical exemption must be shown. Exemption letters must include:

  • The name and contact information of the physician

  • A logo or letterhead identifying the physician

  • A statement that there is a medical reason for your exemption for being fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Further to new measures announced by the provincial government, wearing a mask is mandatory in indoor public spaces. It is therefore mandatory to wear a mask inside our venue. Masks can be removed once you are seated. The regulation applies to everyone aged 12 and up.

We ask all our guests to please follow and respect these outlined safety protocols. Please be respectful and courteous with our staff as we navigate policy changes during this time.
